I have no idea about using mairix.

But in mutt that is a simple l (limit command) then "~b LTS-25" to search the body. When the email is indexed that is very fast if the search is in the header (such as a ~s (subject) or ~f (from) search) and the .muttrc setting header_cache is set.

I'd be interested to know what benefits mairix brings to the mix and if it can hook into the standard mutt commands.
