Thanks for the many updates and improvements and maintenance.
That's all I have to say but since I haven't posted to this list this
decade, maybe even last one, I figured I'd be blabby today.
And blabbing on, why not. I have maintained a personal patch file that I
apply when I want to build a new mutt. It used to have a bunch of things
in it but as time has gone on it's gotten smaller and smaller. Which I
think is a great sign. Among the only significant things in it now are
to add and implement a couple of muttrc variables to set a top and
bottom margin, since I like to break up any wall of solid text. As I
mentioned on the list back in 2004:
One of the first things I ever did when getting mutt was a hack to
add top and bottom margins, since I didn't like the text crammed up
against the top and bottom.
I've said something about this a couple of times I think, but never got
any interest, so I've kept them in my personal patch set.
This actually used to be a fairly non-trivial patch, having to calculate
offsets here and there, but at some point mutt 'window' management was
changed and the margins got a lot easier. Of course I don't know that
they work in all environments since I don't use some facilities (e.g.
sidebars) but they continue to work for me.
But I digress.
Thanks again,
