Somehow that doesn't look as menacing as what I tried.  Thanks for the info
about \\.  I'm sure I'd figure it out, but that stuff is annoying to
diagnose.

Good idea.  I have a number addresses, but they should collapse into a 2 or
3 rules - at which point the duplication becomes significantly less
irritating.

I don't use + for mailing lists, so this is a very rare occurrence for me.
