Index screen - could it feature time segments?

My thoughts are:

 - Blech.  This is not Outlook. I always thought it was a distasteful
   waste of space in Outlook, and it would be even more so in Mutt.
   Obviously, it's a matter of taste, which is highly individual.

 - There's no way to do this currently in Mutt.
