Preferred way to get imap emails

I am trying out mbsync now. It is running as a service and working
smoothly till now. I configured it yesterday night. I am observing it
for 2-3 days.

Yes it was running as services but after the notebook goes into sleep it
doesn't work as expected. I have to restart service. I am on macOS.
Everytime it wakes up I must issue this command

brew services restart offlineimap
