mutt and MH -- bug? oddity?

I don't have an answer for you, except to comment that the code you 
mentioned in _mh_commit_message() is pretty much untouched since Thomas 
Roessler committed it 20 years ago.  I'm not sure if he closely watches 
the mailing list anymore, but even so I suspect he wouldn't remember his 
thoughts on this detail. :-)

I haven't spent all that much time in the MH code, so I'm not versed in 
the rules for it.  If you do believe the behavior is in error, feel free 
to open a ticket and I'll take a closer look at it.
