Maybe, but I already set it up. The 403 forbidden at localhost I get
seems to be a permissions issue.

UPDATE: Fiddling with git/gitserver I have come across a very
good resource, the brand-new 2nd edition of Scott Chacon's and Ben 
Straub's 'ProGit' published by APress only a few days ago,
that may be of interest for you and the mutt community
