Just to follow up, I slightly modified the commit and pushed to stable 
and master.  I believe this should preserve the behavior your config had 
prior to 1.11.0.  If I can I'll try to get a stable release out with the
fix before the 1.12.0 release.

I also changed IMAP to try OAUTH first when $imap_authenticators is 
unset, like POP does.  However, both will now return UNAVAIL if 
oauthbearer is not explictly requested or configured (via 
$*_oauth_refresh_command).
